Developed exclusively for Medicine & Wellness Within™ by founder and Certified Naturopathic Medicine Practitioner Jamie in collaboration with an engineering team, Renew XIII™ was created to challenge the way cellulite has traditionally been treated. While most technologies rely on radiofrequency, lasers, ultrasound, or externally applied wavelengths to reach tissue beneath the skin, Renew XIII™ features proprietary Direct Biology Contact™ technology. Instead of depending on energy to travel through surrounding tissue, the technology was designed to make direct contact with the targeted treatment area, delivering controlled cellular heat exactly where the cellulite pocket begins.
Cellulite does not begin on the surface of the skin. It begins beneath it, where enlarged adipose cells become trapped within a network of connective tissue. As these cells enlarge, they push upward while the surrounding connective tissue pulls downward, creating the dimples and uneven texture recognized as cellulite. Diet, exercise, and even significant weight loss can improve body composition, but they often do not change the structural tissue responsible for cellulite's appearance.
Renew XIII™ was developed to address this biology rather than simply improve the skin's surface. Every treatment initiates what we call The Biological Cascade™, our proprietary three-phase treatment philosophy designed to support the body's natural remodeling process.
The first phase begins with Target. Every cellulite pocket is carefully identified before treatment begins. Using Direct Biology Contact™, controlled cellular heat is delivered directly to the enlarged adipose tissue within the targeted area. Unlike treatments that rely on external energy sources traveling through surrounding tissue, Renew XIII™ was designed to focus directly on the localized cellulite pocket. This controlled thermal response begins the treatment process exactly where the structural changes exist.
The second phase is Cellular Breakdown. As controlled cellular heat is applied to the targeted tissue, the treatment is designed to disrupt the integrity of the enlarged adipose cell. According to the treatment's design, this controlled response affects the cell membrane and cellular structures involved in the targeted tissue. As the treated cell breaks down, its contents transition into a more fluid state within the treatment area. This marks the beginning of The Biological Cascade™, as the body begins its natural healing and remodeling response. Over the following weeks, the body gradually processes the treated cellular material through its normal physiological pathways while preparing the area for healthier tissue regeneration.
The final phase is Restore & Reveal. Once the treated tissue has been processed, the body's natural repair mechanisms continue to work. Fibroblasts support new collagen production while connective tissue reorganizes and strengthens beneath the skin. As healthier tissue architecture develops, the appearance of the cellulite pocket softens, skin texture becomes smoother, firmness improves, and the treated area appears healthier and more refined. Because remodeling continues after your appointment, improvements develop gradually as your body completes its natural healing process.
